• FAQ

    • What happens during the initial consultation?

The initial consultation takes place before we can provide any services to your pet.  This visit allows you to get to know us and we get to know your pet.  We'll learn what your pet likes, where you keep the leash, the food and where your pets favorite toys are hidden!  Your pet will get familiar with us.  You will be confident that your pet will be getting the love, care and attention while you are away from them.  During the visit you will fill out a Service Agreement, New Client Questionnaire, and provide a set of house keys.  We do not charge for the initial consultation.

    • What is your coverage area?

We provide services to the Morganville, Marlboro, Manalapan, Holmdel, Matawan, Aberdeen, Cliffwood, Keyport, Hazlet and surrounding areas.

    • How do I go about payment?

We accept Cash, Check or Credit Card for payment.  Payment should be arranged before the first official visit.  We provide automatic credit card billing for monthly plans.

    • Do I make reservations with my pet sitter directly?

Yes, you will meet your pet sitter at your initial consultation and book with them directly.

    • What kind of services do you offer?

We offer dog walking, pet sitting, overnight sitting, house sitting and pet transportation.

    • Can I work out a custom plan to suit my pets needs?

We offer weekly, monthly and a la carte plans.  Your plan can be customized to your needs and your pets needs.

    • Do you also care for small animals?

Yes, we provide love and care for all small animals.

    • Do you also care for large animals such as horses?

At this time we do not care for large animals such as horses.

    • Is it really safe to allow someone in my home while I'm away?

We are bonded, insured and members of Pet Sitters International.

    • Should I make a copy of my key for the pet sitter?

Yes.  A copy of your house keys are required for us to provide services to you.  Due to potential power outages, a Garage Door Opener is not acceptable as the only means to access your home.  A key is always required.

    • I don't want my pet sitter to hold onto my key. Can they drop it off to me when I get home?

Yes, you can schedule a visit for us to return your key after you return home.  You must be home at the time.  Due to unforeseen potential travel delays on your part, we cannot leave the key on the last visit day.  This would still give us access to your home in case your trip is delayed for any reason.  There is a $15 charge for a return key visit.
